One of my cousins just finished all his medical school, residency, and fellowship stuff. He is in his mid-30ths, has 3 kids, all in school, and lives in a house the same size as mine (and mine is small since my husband just graduated college and we only have 1 little). So, I understand how long it takes.

This was so interesting! I think medical anything is fascinating, and I really enjoyed reading this. I always wondered what the difference was between a DO and an MD…ha! Exciting that your hubby is almost done – I’m sure it was a long journey!

I’m so glad you told us not to call medical school “college.” I didn’t know that was offensive, even though I totally understood med school was ridiculously hard and required an undergrad degree. I have so much respect for your husband for his dedication! I had to work that many hours during my last couple years of college (between actual college and a 10hr/week job), and I was going crazy by the end of it. You’re pretty incredible too for taking great care of two toddlers while he’s gone. I hope you two know what an amazing job you are doing!
