Agreed! It’s the best! Usually Little J will peek his eyes open and say thanks for things he sees. “This blanket, that picture, that cup.” It’s funny but also adorable!

That is how we are raised to pray in our church. I think part of it is to keep young kids from playing with their hands during prayers. But it’s definitely not required and if it’s more comfortable to clasp your hands, then that’s fine, too! Whatever you feel most reverent doing is great!
