Thanks, Lauren! My son used to be awesome at eating everything, and then he hit 2 and it's been a lot more difficult! We just have to keep trying and be persistent!

I love this post and I think every mother should read this! My son is 10 months old and will eat pretty much anything! I see way too many kids who hate everything and won't eat anything, it really annoys me.

Smart! I made my son some homemade fruit snacks a few weeks ago and he wouldn't eat them! Little junk food snob!

My siblings and I were SUCH picky eaters growing up too! Totally relating to the grill cheese sandwich thing! The ONLY thing my mom could cook that all 7 of us would is was waffles. RIDICULOUS! I too am determined my kids won't turn out that way! All of your tips are great- especially the tip about continuing to offer a variety! Another thing I'm pretty strict about is that I rarely let them eat packaged snack foods because then both my littles ALWAYS start turning their noses up at real food once they've had a few goldfish! Let's hope we can both keep are kids from being picky as they grow up lol!
