I homeschool and strongly believe in the power of the Montessori method for teaching kids to read and actually LOVE doing it. Montessori teaches children the sound of letters instead of the name, for instance, “A” would be called ah. We would cut out letters and she would put words together like a puzzle and she LOVED it!!

He loves to read. We have a book basket that is in the kids’ room that he always runs to and brings me books all day. 🙂 I always like to encourage my kids to read, no matter their age. It’s such a great way for them to build their imaginations and learn.
