Thank you! I feel tons better. I was able to actually have a decent holiday by cleaning out the pumpkin and getting a ton of pictures of my little one inside it. (Post will hopefully be up by the end of the day) I needed encouragement and you gave it to me. Not only by your words but also by being the first to follow my blog. It's definitely a motivation.

Oh Kelly, you are doing awesome! Getting used to having a baby and managing everything definitely takes some time! The good news is that you'll figure it out! I promise you aren't alone in feeling overwhelmed! And no matter what any mom says, everyone has rough patches! You can do it, girl!!

This post definitely helped me. I have been feeling so useless lately as a mother. My little one is only 3 and a half months old and breastfeeding is pretty much no longer an option because my supply won't stay up. I'm currently taking one class at a time online for my photography major and, while the class only has two to three assignments per week, it's still a hand-full because the assignments are very hands-on. Those days, I get nothing done apart from the assignments, other than feeding and changing the baby. The other days, I try to run my blog (which is just starting out), catch up on emails and social media, and use some money-making sites, as well as looking for virtual assistant jobs. Maybe once a week, I'll get the laundry done. My little one is very attached and it's hard to even use the bathroom without him having a fit. He also is a very light sleeper until after 2 am, when he finally sleeps through the night. He will take 5 minute naps throughout the day and that's it, so it makes it very hard to accomplish anything. I have friends who manage their social networks, do all the shopping, cook every day, and still have time to play with their kids while still doing the basics such as changing, feeding and bathing. We don't have a baby bath tub at the time, so we have to bathe him in the kitchen sink, which is almost nearly impossible to do because there's only one sink and the dishes never get done (we live with my fiance's family so I promise I'm not slacking, it's just that I can't ever get to it because of the baby fussing and being attached and no one else will help out while my fiance is at work). Point is, I have been feeling like a terrible mother lately because I haven't gotten things done like they should be, but this post definitely makes me feel better because on rare occasions I will have a day where I get loads done.

Thanks, Jessica!! That means a lot! If it makes you feel any better, the day after I wrote the first draft of this post, Little J took his diaper off during nap time and smeared poop all over. Some days are just the worst, but that's part of the job! And hello, look at all the amazing preschool things you've been doing with your kids! You're a great mom!!

Chelsea I'm loving these posts you've been doing, they're so encouraging, honest, and relatable. And this one is something we all need to hear since I'm sure most of us judge ourselves more by our bad days over our good. I know I do. It's funny I saw this post today because I was just asking my mom earlier if it's possible that I was ruining my kids from losing my cool too much. It's just been one of those kinds of weeks! Ugh. Thank you for this reminder, love this post <3
