I don't know. The brewer's yeast didn't add any weird flavor or anything, and it's an important ingredient in lactation cookies, since it helps support your supply.

These turned out lovely! I omitted the brewer's yeast though...I wonder what it would taste like with it. Is there something else I could use to replace that?

I think they'll probably last a week if you keep them covered. Or, my personal favorite way to make these, is to freeze the cookie dough in little balls and then just pull out a few when you want to bake them!

Thanks for sharing, Louise! I'm a big sweet tooth, so I thought they were perfect, but I get that you might think they were too sweet!

3.5 Easy to follow. I had nutritional yeast flakes so used that instead of the powder. I found these waay too sweet and i only did 1 1/4c of sugar i know they're cookies so they're supposed to be sweet but it took away from the oaty and cranberry flavours. Also the white chocolate made it extra sweet too. Probably would.do less sugar if i made them again and would try the orange zest like other commenter to bring down the sweetness

Did you put in enough butter? It is kind of crumbly, but it shouldn't be so crumbly that it doesn't even bind.
