Regarding the recipe for Better Than Pumpkin Pie cake: I’m confused about the amount of brown sugar used. You say mix the cup of brown sugar with the milk and 3 eggs and then mix the one cup of cake mix with the remaining brown sugar. What did I miss?

In reply to Linda Bouffard. I have a very similar recipe that I’ve been making for over 25 years. Once I made this dessert, my family preferred it over regular pumpkin pie. It is a very good dessert.
