I could have written this myself (First grade has been harder for me than Kindergarten!). It’s bittersweet to watch your little ones grow up. I want to print it out and save it for four years when Brooks goes to kindergarten. It made me cry because not only do I love your little J and know he’s going to be an amazing example and a wonderful little student, but because it means my time to send my baby to school is that much closer. I was an emotional wreck that whole first day. I totally get it! It’s so hard to let them go, even if they are so ready. I hope you are able to get into a nice routine quickly with the changes.
